Tamiya 1/35 U.S. Navy PBR 31 Mk. II Patrol Boat “Pibber” – Vietnam Riverine Warfare
The U.S. Navy PBR 31 Mk.II was one of the most recognisable patrol craft used during the Vietnam War, designed for riverine operations where speed, shallow draft and heavy firepower were essential. Originally based on a civilian fibreglass hull, the PBR became a highly effective platform for patrol, interdiction and fire support in confined waterways.
This Tamiya 1:35 scale plastic model kit captures the distinctive shape and layout of the PBR, featuring a detailed cockpit and interior framework, movable weapons, and four crew figures. With its compact size and strong historical context, it fits naturally into Vietnam-era dioramas or standalone naval displays.
