The HK Models 1/32 Scale B-17F Flying Fortress ‘Memphis Belle’ Model Kit recreates one of the most iconic USAAF heavy bombers of WWII as a large, highly detailed plastic model. As the first mass-produced Flying Fortress variant and one of the most famous American aircraft of the war, the B-17F served at the heart of the daylight bombing campaign over occupied Europe, with ‘Memphis Belle’ becoming a symbol of endurance and morale on both sides of the Atlantic.

This 1/32 kit captures the size and presence of the B-17F, with a wingspan of approximately 989mm, a length of approximately 709mm, and a total of 657 parts. You get finely moulded exterior detail, a fully equipped interior and markings for two aircraft that both went on war bonds tours in 1943/44: ‘Memphis Belle’, the first B-17 to return to the USA after completing 25 missions, and ‘Knock-out Dropper’, the first Fortress to reach 50 and later 75 missions. Paints and glue are sold separately, giving experienced modellers the freedom to choose their preferred products, weathering styles, and display options.
